We enjoy our garden every day. Opening the garden to visitors for bespoke events enables others to use the garden's delights to make important occasions memorable.
The garden is a beautiful intimate place for weddings, photography, after-service memorial gatherings, celebrations, private dinner parties, and wedding proposals. It is an exquisite country garden experience.

The Bath House Garden is an exquisite country garden venue in the Hunter Valley, perfect for your garden wedding ceremony, photography, and small intimate reception. A limited number of wedding events are booked each season with each having exclusive use of the beautiful gardens.
The Location
The Bath House Garden is conveniently located just 2 hours north of Sydney, 30 minutes from Newcastle, and filled with country garden charm. There is plenty of accommodation, great food, special attractions, and boutique shopping in surrounding areas, including the iconic Hunter Valley Vineyards and coastal Port Stephens....... the perfect venue for your special day.
Accommodation
The Garden Villa provides luxury accommodation within the garden for two. Your stay includes a gourmet breakfast basket.
The Bridal Dressing Room
A private conservatory room that is air conditioned and overlooks a beautiful garden courtyard, the perfect place for pre-wedding preparations.
The Ceremony
The 4-acre garden will be exclusively yours with a choice from several intimate locations, with beautiful vistas of the lake, set up ready for your garden ceremony. The Garden Room and large garden umbrellas in the courtyard will be a perfect plan B in the case of wet weather.
Your Wedding Photography
As part of your ceremony package, you and your guests will have plenty of time to relax and enjoy the gardens taking advantage of photographic opportunities at every turn. You can capture all those important memories of the day without having to travel to another location.
The Reception
Spoil your guests with some exquisite pre-reception refreshments before leaving the garden or stay and celebrate the occasion with full reception. The Garden Room and courtyard overlooking the lake will provide the perfect ambiance. Sunset canapes, afternoon High Tea, an intimate formal banquet or perhaps more casual woodfired pizza are all perfect ways to treat your guests to some exquisite country garden hospitality.

PHOTOGRAPHY IN THE GARDEN
Stone walls, rows of lavender, rustic arbours, water features, climbing roses gravel paths, romantic bridges, manicured lawns, rustic timber doors, the old row boat........that's a country garden.
With a private appointment, you have the perfect setting to capture some of your most precious moments in life.The Bath House Garden is available for wedding photography, family portraits and engagement, baby and maternity shoots.
The garden is less than 4 acres, so you will have the opportunity to take advantage of the variety of spaces. It is also a seasonal garden so you can have bulbs and spring blossoms, fresh greens, lavender blues, autumn colours or winter silhouettes, depending on the time of the year you plan your photographic event.
Any time of the day can be made available, with sunset shoots being very popular.

AFTER SERVICE MEMORIAL GATHERINGS
A place uniquely special for those precious memories.
The Bath House Garden is a beautiful, private, country garden. The sense of calm and peace is perfect for an after-service gathering of friends and family.
Morning or afternoon tea or a luncheon can be served in our Garden Room overlooking the lake.
