PRIVATE VISITS AND GROUP TOURS
The Bath House Garden welcomes private bookings to visit the garden. Visitors may choose between a garden wander with the help of a garden map or a personally guided tour (minimum numbers apply).
The garden is set in the rural surrounds of Historic Maitland and is located a stroll from Walka Water Works Heritage Park, 15 minutes from the old river port town of Morpeth and 20 minutes from the spectacular Hunter Valley vineyards.
The country-style home and peaceful garden lake are the central features of this charming seasonal garden. Visitors will be delighted and inspired by the beautiful vistas, as they explore both the ornamental and productive spaces. The garden has plantings of deciduous trees bringing glorious colour in Autumn and a fresh green backdrop for the shrubs and roses in the spring and summer. Gravel paths, fragrant surprises, stone walls, climbing roses, busy chickens and Ebony the cow all add to this country garden experience.
A guided tour of the garden will give you a greater look at the story and family behind its creation and care.
For those groups who are travelling further to visit the garden or would like to extend their outing, there are several places to visit and accommodation not far from the garden.
